the best season of Love Island

Before starting the article, let’s just take a minute to thank the global pandemic for ruining our lives, especially the holiday summers. Love Island was coming on our screens every year in summers since the 2015 year. But, as the season was not going to air in the year 2020, so the fans decided to re-binge all the seasons. And, if you are one of those fans who loved “Love Island”, so you may think that which is the best season of Love Island. You can’t deny the fact that Love Island has provided the nation with some serious entertainment over the years. It may be hard enough to choose the best season of Love Island, but it is not different to choose the favorite one. Here are some of the great picks among the seasons of Love Island, that you may agree to it.

Best Season of Love Island; Ranking

We’ve ranked the series of Love Island, keeping all the drama and the love that blossomed in the series. Let’s start.

Season 2

It has to be one of the best seasons of Love Island. This 2016 Love Island is the clear winner among all the seasons. Once you started watching the season, you will truly invest in the goings-on of the villa in 2016. Sometimes to the point of tears… even! In the second season, Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde are the favorite couples from the show. Moreover, they were by far the most genuine winners of the season. As soon as the couple entered the villa their romance was really real, sometimes a little gross. But, it was completely adorable to watch. But, what’s the icing on the cake? The fact that they move forward to have a baby. Also, they are getting married added more love and drama to the season.

Furthermore, this 2016 season also highlighted the double standard for the male and female contestants. What made this highlight? Because the former Miss Great Britain Zara Holland has to lose her title and leave the villa. Why? Because she spent the night with Alex Bowen. Alex Bowen easily got away with it while she faced a massive backlash when she returned home. But, she incredibly dealt with people who slut-shamed her. She stood up for herself all the way, even when she left the villa, she definitely left her mark.

We got to see the best drama out of this season of Love Island when Malin Andersson returned to the villa to confront ex Terry Walsh. The memory of him walking into the courtyard to see her sitting sipping her drink still send shivers down the spine. But, no doubt it was a brilliant TV. She said what she needed to say, and he on the other hand had no responses.

Best Season of Love Island

Love Island

Season 4

Without a doubt, a close contender for the best season of Love Island. Do you know anyone who doesn’t like this season? If you do, you might need to reconsider the friendship with them. The season was completely swept away in the drama. It includes love, a hell of a lot of tears, and some seriously awesome islanders. What more do you ask from the Love Island?

The couples who successfully captured the hearts of the nations are Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer. Although, it’s so sad that their love didn’t last for one long. One thing we can say with surety is that both had amazing personalities as individuals. They provided us with many of the laughs in the villa and came out as genuinely nice human beings. They both were loyal people, both to each other and their friends as well.

This 2018 season of Love Island also gave us Adam Collard, Jack Fowler, and Wes Nelson who just changed the meaning of love for many. But, that’s not all! Apart from the male islanders that made Love Island 2018, Laura Anderson blew everyone with that killer personality. She made it clear and showed everyone that how to shake off being dumped, rise above it, and upgrade not once but twice in six weeks. We can consider her the real winners of the series because of some serious sass and killer outfits. Meanwhile, Georgia Steel made sure that no one dares to forget her loyalty. And, the entire nation was praying and backing Samira Mighty to find love.

Best Season of Love Island

Love Island

Season 3

This series of “Love Island” was pure meme material. Amber Davies’s eyes popping out when her man was nicked, definitely an interesting sight to watch on TV. On the other hand, we had Jonny Mitchell glaring at Theo and Tyla while eating the pistachios. Moving forward, we had Chris Hughes staring at the ceiling in the dark. Damn! The perfect meme material.

Series 3 of the Love Islands gave us a brilliant mix of islanders. Although, there is no doubt that Amber and Kem won. There were other couples that we were invested in as well, and they kept us hooked.  The plenty love triangles were an amazing, yet entertaining side of this season. Theo Campbell trying to split up couples for the hell of it and the late Mike Thalassitis and Chris Hughes vying for Olivia Attwood’s affection. Entertaining? Yes! It certainly was.  By the way, Olivia is a god-tier female islander. The only couple that lasted was Jess Shears and Dom Lever. Quite surprising though! Because no one had given a thought that this couple would even last the flight back to the UK. Let alone got married and had a baby that too wonderfully.

Obviously, apart from the love more happened as well. This season was the year for bromances. We genuinely agree with the argument that Chris and Kem should win the prize money. But why? All the credit to their pure comedy that they gave us. Starting from rapping Skepta, or writing Little Bit Leave It with Marcel, and finishing it with a guest pep talk from Stormzy, or shaving their initials into each other’s pubic hair. They were quite crazy, and the audience actually drove crazy before them.

Best Season of Love Island

Love Island

Season 5

No one has thought that season five of Love Island would provide us with such sheer entertainment. Have you? But, from Michael’s behavior, which left the nation heartbroken, to Ovie’s announcement that he had a message. This season really had everything and the nation certainly enjoyed it.

The series gave us the villain of the year Michael Griffiths. It gave us Chris Taylor striking out with everybody and spending his summer doing the salmon into the pool. Then, we had Amy Hart, pointing at Curtis Pritchard and saying ‘I was coming back in here to tell you that I loved you. Oops…! But, he admitted that his head was turned in Casa Amor. But, that was not the best, we had the best Casa Amor addition of all time in the form of Ovie Soko. A beautiful and chill man that people happily took six weeks of him saying ‘Message!’

The season gripped the nation’s attention with an initial unfolding storyline of Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard that eventually came to an abrupt end. Although we would love to see them win, they looked like real contenders to win. But, when Hart made Pritchard sat down on the sofas and questioned whether he ever liked her at all. We knew the end is near. The Pritchard response was quite surprising. Isn’t it?  It was a bizarre defense about making coffee for everyone.

Queen Maura Higgins strutted into the villa, licking her lips and salivating over a cheese, mayo, and ketchup sandwich to try and steal Tommy Fury away from Molly Mae Hague, what an entry! She took this bland series into overdrive.

What was the actual high of season 5? It has to be when Maura Higgins entered the villa and the islanders didn’t quite know what had landed. She brought some “fanny flutters” to the villa. She went all the way to the final with Curtis Pritchard. She may not have won that, but her success is depicting that it doesn’t matter for her actually. Honestly, we would be the number one to agree, if you may call this series Maura and Ovie Island.

However, Michael’s childish behavior has to be the one real storyline of season five that makes it unforgettable. We can obviously argue, whether it was childish or not, but it was unforgettable. What were they up to? Let’ excuse us for not knowing, because he sent out so many mixed signals. His downfall was his own gaslighting, as he left the villa and she went on to win. They gave us an unstoppable trio of Gill, Yewande Biala, and Anna Vakili, we stan so hard. This series deserved attention and the quality of islanders really saved this bland series.

Conclusion

Love island gave us some amazing storylines, love lives, breakups, and the wonderful actions of islanders to enjoy. Love Island is what we need in these disturbing pandemic times. And, with the crazy dramas along with the exciting conversations, we can certainly binge-watch the series again. But, what to watch first? Which is the best season of Love Island? There is always room to argue, but we have decided that for you. Obviously, you have all the right to disagree with us, but the craziness in the series is almost unstoppable since season 1. Although season 1 didn’t get much acclaim, maybe the nation was not ready yet. But, since series 2 was out, people were ready!

But, sometimes people often think that what other kind of music I can listen to if I like the music band Tame impala. Without a doubt, Kevin Parker has a massive influence on the psychedelic and indie genres. He inspires both his contemporaries and the new bands nowadays. Meanwhile, there are a lot of awesome music bands, groups, and artists that sound like him but with their own way and twist.  Here are some of the similar artists of music bands like Tame Impala that you can listen to if you love Tame Impala. We leave it to you to decide which you like and are the best of the best.

Pond

This is the most similar band to the Tame Impala. The band experiments with psychedelic music in their fuzzy and modern brand of glam pop. Their music is an amazing blend of the creative wanderlust of psychedelia that too both past and present along with the clean instrumental lines of indie pop and a dash of prog rock for seasoning. You should not confuse this Australian band “Pond” with the other music bands named similarly. They are one of the most similar bands like Tame Impala and you will like them if your playlist is full of Tame Impala songs.

Pond

Melody’s Echo Chamber

This is the main project of the French musician, Melody Prochet. He did his debut with the album “I Follow You” which is a simple sun-drenched ’60s melodies. Melody Prochet crafts his music like a densely layered haze and completes it with an ethereal coos signature to the style. But, she does her job in a less pensive and more authoritative way. So, we are sure you consider it one the similar artist like Tame Impala, and she does an amazing job undeniably.

MGMT

This American psychedelic rock band founded by Benjamin Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden creates amazing music. Almost similar to the Tame Impala, but with its own way and twist, hence leaving more impact. After the release of their album, Matthew Asti, James Richardson, and Will Berman, joined the core band in the studio as well. They then signed with Columbia Records and Red Ink in 2006 to take their music to the next levels.

Arctic Monkeys

It is an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. Alex Turner (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Matt Helders (drums, vocals), Jamie Cook (guitar, keyboards), and Nick O’Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals) plays as the main leads of the music band. After the debut album of the band was released in 2006, former band member Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) left the band. Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not (2006), Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007) are the prominent albums.

 bands like Tame Impala

Archic Monkeys

The Strokes

Originated in Manhattan, New York, the United States in 1998, created amazing music. And, for those who follow Tame Impala for their kind of music then they should also listen to them. They gained fame in the early 2000s with the release of their debut album “Is this it” in 2001. Julian Casablancas (lead vocals), Nick Valensi (lead guitar), Albert Hammond, Jr. (rhythm guitar), Nikolai Fraiture (bass guitar), and Fabrizio Moretti (drums and percussion) are the lead members. The group met with much critical acclaim even with a debut song. Since their debut, there is no stopping by and they gave us great music in all these years. Room on Fire, Juicebox, First Impressions of Earth, Comedown Machine, All the time, and the New abnormal just released recently should be on your playlist.

The HolyDrug Couple

The music band did their debut with Sacred Bones Records in 2011. But, since then they have gained much growth. The “couple” consists of Ives Sepúlveda and Manuel Parra and they started with a  home studio. They used to record the entire album themselves, from start to finish, and the work is quite amazing. They took the risk of doing all the work by themselves and created the songs like “Willoweed” and “Paisley” that flow seamlessly into one another. Another song “Follow Your Way” is the perfect exemplification of the growth of this band and signifies the new direction they’re headed in.

 bands like Tame Impala

Holy Drug

Unknown Mortal Orchestra

They initiated their musical journey as a Bandcamp account carrying a single called ‘Ffunny Ffrends’ in 2010. Just as how the title suggests and how you expect it to be, it lives up to your expectations. The alien beatnik pop music that echoed 60s psychedelia and krautrock minimalism were just so great to listen to. A hint of gentle weirdness blends well with their music and suggests that the roots of their music may lie in the verdant indie of the equally distant New Zealand scene. Their albums, Multi-Love (2015), Sex & Food (2018), and IC-01 Hanoi (2018) are worth listening to. You can come across these in various movies like Forever My Girl and The Breakfast Club.

Temples

The lead members include singer/guitarist James Edward Bagshaw, bassist Tom Walmsley, drummer Rens Ottink, and keyboardist Adam Smith. You can not move forward if you didn’t listen to their singles shelter Song, Keep in the Dark, Colours to Life and Mesmerise. They did their debut in 2014 with the album Sun Structures on 10th February 2014 and entertained the audience well. Their music is also similar to Tame Impala, and hence you can count them on the list of bands like Tame Impala.

Conclusion

Tame Impala is undeniably an extraordinarily great band, but that doesn’t put a full stop to this genre of music. There are other numerous music bands like Tame Impala that are creating amazing music as well and that too of the same kind. You can enjoy their music as well. And, here we have listed the similar bands and artists that you can listen to and enjoy the kind of music while laying down in your comfy sofas.

Let’s Find Out What Creed Said in Chinese

Published

what did creed say in chinese

Creed Bratton- a fictionalized character of Creed Bratton himself. The astonishing fact about this character is that Creed Bratton (the actor) played his own dramatized version in the sitcom –The Office.
The Office is one of the most popular American sitcoms. It is basically a mockumentary that portrays the everyday work life of American employees in a paper company. The fictionalized company- Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, became the prime theme of this sitcom. Among the many wonderful characters, Creed’s character is also an appealing one. Let’s get right into what Creed said in Chinese!

what did creed say in chinese

Chinese

Who is Creed?

At the office, Creed works as a quality control director. He is a fairly old me Office is one of the most popular American sitcoms. It is basically a mockumentary that portrays the everyday work life of American emploan in his forties or fifties. He had a dark past which affects his memory. It even makes him forget even the title of his job and the names of his co-workers.

The most tempting quality of his character was his front and bold attitude. His “I don’t give a damn” outlook is the essence of his character. Despite having a background role, the character whenever appeared on-screen never failed to catch the attention of its audience.

Another interesting fact about Creed’s character was when he tried to hook up his daughter with Jim. And later, telling Jim that he thought he was gay. When Jim asked why he would set up his daughter with a gay man. He just went on with “I don’t know”. This aspect of his personality later got revealed, when he somehow disclosed that he was bisexual.

Among many of his unique unusual qualities, Creed was also bilingual. On one side, his bilingualism appealed to the audience. While on the other side it also made them curious. Because he used to casually say something in Chinese, not even caring to translate it for the rest of his team. This thing not only perplexes the other crew of the sitcom but also baffles the audience.

What did Creed say in Chinese? – the one where Creed greets

The first time Creed showed off his bilingual quality was in the episode “Dwight’s Speech” of season 2. Here he did give a pre-context before saying the Chinese words. But, the way he said it at the very instant was quite a shock for everyone.

During this scene when Creed revealed his Chinese speaking skills. The office was giving Jim travel ideas. Creed also pours in his idea by suggesting Jim for Hong Kong, China. At this point, he showed his skills. He goes on by saying, “I’d like to say hi to my friends in China.” With this, he continued to speak Chinese,

“我的中華的朋友你好”

“wa du jung wa du pung yo nihao”

Although, his accent was a little difficult to understand. But, the way he suddenly greets in Chinese was quite witty of him. The dialogue roughly translates as,

“My China friends hello.”

This is what it translates when Creed says hello in Mandarin. The way his accent came out was quite amusing. He was one of those characters whose every dialogue and every expression brings a comical touch to the scene.  You can see Creed speaking Chinese here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMxYdTt5N_s

What did Creed say in Chinese? – the one where Creeds read the label

Amongst many of his famous dialogues, the dialogue that left the American audience wondering was when he casually read a label in Chinese. The fun part is that Creed didn’t even bother translating it. So, if you are also here to satisfy your curiosity- perplexing on what did creed say in Chinese? Then let us pacify it for you.

The dialogue where Creed just went on uttering the Chinese words without even bothering to translate them, was quite comical. The most on-point display of his cranky and I don’t care attitude is clearly visible in this dialogue. Apart from this, this dialogue also reflects one of his qualities of bilingualism. But, the funny part is that his bilingual quality was of no help especially when needed.

Season and Episode

The scene where this dialogue took place, was part of the episode “Viewing Party” from season 7. The episode – themed as a Glee viewing party, hosted by Gabe. As the party was on flow, Andy is exploring Gabe’s apartment along with Ryan.

During this, a bottle made Andy curious. This bottle contained some sort of powder with a label in Chinese. Ryan in his naivety made a presumption that it is some sort of a Chinese virility herb. Having heard this, Andy sprinkled some of this powder with his wine and gulped it.

what did creed say in chinese

Chinese

At first, he felt quite good but soon he got severely ill. He started feeling nauseous and throws up. At this point, he asked Creed to read what the label said. To his question, Creed just simply read the text in Chinese. Instead of translating it he just went on to read it. This is where Creed showed his bizarre attitude. Leaving Andy and the viewers in perplex ion.

Full Dialogue With Translation

The dialogue was in Chinese as the label states,

“海马不要跟酒乱搞”

“Hǎimǎ bùyào gēn jiǔluàn gǎo” in pinyin”

The translation of this dialogue in English goes like this,

“Do not mix the sea horse with alcohol”

Well, now you can figure out what happened to Andy. It was not a bottle of some Chinese virility herb but rather powdered sea horse. And the label on it forbade mixing it with alcohol. Which is the exact opposite of what Andy did and later suffered the consequences.

This whole scene was very amusing. Andy with his jealousy and curiosity, Ryan with his stupidity and assumptions, and Creed just being his bizarre and blunted self. You can enjoy this hilarious scene here:

Conclusion

Creed’s character was sort of mysterious. You can never predict what he is about to say. What new aspect of his personality will come out. And this is what makes him unique and attractive.

His peculiar ways like struggling to look young after dyeing his hair with printer ink was a comic in itself. Just like this, you can find many hidden aspects of Creed’s personality. Yet still, you won’t completely unravel the mystery behind his incomprehensible face.
