Despite being a remake, this does justice to the original. The leads of the movie do a beautiful job of portraying a hopeless couple who have no idea about the danger they are in. The start of the movie can be a bit sluggish but eventually, it picks up the pace and it certainly delivers. If you enjoyed the US remake of the movie, we recommend that you give the original Japanese version a try as well. But before you watch it, we suggest that you go in with an open mind and leave the skepticism out. It is mandatory to do so to enjoy this movie. The ending leaves the audience craving for more, possibly a sequel – which is highly unlikely. The pacing of this movie is brilliant and well worth your time.
